Arranged a guest lecture by Dr. Uday Kiran Tupakula, Macquarie University, Australia on 20th Feb 16. He presented the current challenges in maintaining the security over mobile transactions with the title “Security in Emerging Technologies”.

Faculty were given awareness towards funding opportunities through a session on  “Research Funding Opportunities for Private Engineering Colleges”  by   Dr. T Radha Krishna, Emiratus Professor, Mentor TEQUIP -2 and Advisor ELORIA, DRDO and Higher Education, Gov of Telangana and AP. This was organized on 16th Jul 2016.

College has become Life Institutional member of “The Institute of Engineers” on 19th Jan 17 to facilitate the faculty and students to participate in R&D activities and explore new technologies in multidisciplinary engineering.

R&D members of GNITS visited “Srujana Centre for Innovation” the R&D wing at L. V. Prasad Eye Institute, Hyderabad towards research collaboration.  One student from M. Tech CSE got an intern with stipend of Rs 10,000 per month, and 2 students of B.Tech CSE  also joined in the intern.

Conducted Innovation Idea contest for  “Smart India Hackathon 2017” and shortlisted 10 proposals out of 51 submitted. 3 teams were selected for final round and participated.

Coordinated and submitted 10 proposals to AQIS – AICTE in Jan 2017 from various departments and CSE department got MODROBS sanctioned.

Organized one week workshop on “Insiminate Technical Institutes on OBE competence, IPR and R&D” in association with E&ICT Academy NIT Warangal during 19th – 24th Jul 2017. Around 50 participants from various engineering colleges from states of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh had a very rich experience.

Coordinated submission of 6 proposals to Department of Science and Technology –Interdiciplinary Cyber Physical Systems and two were short listed for next level. Dr. M. Seetha, Prof & Head CSE and Dr. N. Kalyani, Prof CSE presented the proposal at ISI Kolkotha on 11th Oct.

Coordinated submission of 10 proposals under AQIS scheme from various departments for the year 2018.

Actively involved in drafting policies for R&D activies at GNITS.

Session was organized with expert from DST, for faculty to guide regarding research proposal preparation on 1st Dec 2018

Brain stroming session was organized for faculty to drive towards research with inputs from Principal, and Deas of GNITS.

R&D session was organized to all faculty with resource persons Dr. K. Ramesh Reddy, Principal, Dr. P.V.D Soma Sekhar Rao, Dean Academics and Dr. S. S. Tulasi Ram Dean PG studies in .

Conducted session for one to one interaction with Dr.Jayakumar Singh from KLU on 23rd Jul 2019.

Dean R&D and R&D Coordinator visited GHMC on 25th Nov 2019 and held a short meeting with commissioner, Serlingampally. Few projects are identified with the help of commissioner and are working on these projects.

Dean R&D and R&D Coordinator, made a visit to M/s TechFLUENT on 27th Dec 2019 and held discussions on possible new product development. Currently M/s TechFLUENT is exploring on the possibilities to associate with GNITS. 

Organized a session on “Awarness on IPR” by Mr. Vijaya Kumar from Promethes Pvt Ltd for all faculty.

Coordinated the processing of five patents to college in 2018-2019.

Organized a session on “Preparing Research Proposal for Funding” for faculty of GNITS with Dr. P. Sudhaker Rao, DEAN R&D as resource person on 24th and 25th Jun 2020.
